hif: FTR Processing History
The processing history is an ASCII record of the FTR. It details when the copy was made and how many files were copied.
This file is tarrred, compressed and then catalogued into the DSDS with a name of the form:
Site(2 chars) "hif" Date(yymmdd) .tar.Z (as in bbhif030502.tar.Z)
For example, the temporary history file, v010771.doc, would become bbhif030502.tar.Z via:
tar   -cf     bbhif030502.tar   v010771.doc
- Sample Processing History File: Processing history file of Big Bear data from the week of May 2, 2003 onto DSDS volume 010771
