# Frequently Asked Questions

## Mode-frequencies

**Q: Do you produce Clebsch-Gordon or Legendre coefficient tables with
coefficients of higher order than k=9?**

A: No. The code used to produce the Clebsch-Gordon (mrv1y) and
Legendre (mrv1z) coefficients is outdated. The best coefficients
to use for higher-order terms are the Ritzwoller-Lavely coefficients
(mrv1j).

## Magnetograms

**Q: Why are the magnetograms requested from the DSDS not oriented
with solar northat the top of the image?**

A: Calibrated magnetograms stored in the DSDS are still in the orientation
that comes from the instrument because the camera offset angles
(i.e. the angle through which the image should be rotated) has not been
calculated and is therefore not in the image header. If one does not
have the camera offset angle one can assume on offset of 90 degrees.
